Hi! I'm Amanda, and I aim to be your speech and language ami, a word that traces back to the Latin amicus, meaning 'friend' or 'ally'. Over the course of nine years working in this field, I've gathered digital materials and activities that are too good not to share, so I'm building a resource library of my favorites. You'll find some of my own YouTube videos mixed in, along with a section of my writing on a variety of speech and language topics, drawn from my experiences in the field. By day I'm a full-time school SLP in the 'Emerald City', and I also offer in home speech and language therapy that fits around the school schedule.
